Overview:
Seven cabins on an island needed updating to bring them back into compliance. Since the systems were located on an island, construction would be very difficult.

Solution:

• Peter Miller of Miller Environmental Inc. designed systems for each property on the island.
• The systems consisted of standard and advanced treatment depending on the site conditions. Equipment and materials were barged to the island.
• Fiberglass septic tanks and gravelless drainfield media were used in place of concrete tanks and gravel products.
• Advantex treatment units were installed on some of the lots.
