Equipment Operator/ Laborer

Salary Range | $24.55-$30.11/hr commensurate with experience
Septic Check, a division of Wex Companies Inc based in Milaca MN,
is a full service septic company for residential, commercial, and
municipal customers. We provide septic system servicing that includes
inspection, design, installation, repair, drain cleaning, septic tank
pumping, and maintenance. Septic Check is focused on providing
customers with a high level of customer service and professionalism.

Job Description: Installation of septic systems, sewer, and water lines, including operating machinery
safely and efficiently, performing labor and other duties, while working with other employees in construction
activities in accordance to WEX Companies policies and procedures.
Licensing/Education/Experience: High School education or equivalent. On the job training available;
Licensure or education in the sewer/septic system field or two years’ experience in a service industry
preferred. Hold or be able to obtain MN CDL Class A driver’s license with tanker and air brake
endorsement. Hold or able to obtain MPCA Septic System Installer licenses.

Hours: This is a seasonal full time position. Employees will be asked to work at least 8 hours per day,
5 days per week depending on seasonal variations in workload. Applicants can expect 45 to 55 hours
per week during peak construction season. Employees may also be asked to work on out of town jobs
periodically

Dedicated customer service and customer education.

Drive, haul, operate and maintain heavy equipment, service vehicles and other job related tools.

Perform physical work such as moving heavy objects or shoveling for extended periods of time.

Plumb plastic pipe or other pipe materials.

Load, unload and haul equipment and essential materials.

Read and interpret plans, instructions and specifications to determine work activities.

Enter confined spaces using required safety equipment and method.

Troubleshoot problems associated with septic systems and their components and fix them efficiently.
